After breakfast, you will head to Huasca de Ocampo, recognized as Mexico’s first Pueblo Mágico and home to the breathtaking Prismas Basálticos.
These striking basalt columns were formed by the slow cooling of lava flows approximately 2.5 million years ago, creating dramatic geometric formations.
The journey continues to Hacienda Santa María Regla, once described as unique by Carlos III of Spain. This historic property has served as a filming location for several productions, including The Mask of Zorro starring Antonio Banderas.
Next, visit the Casa del Rompope Artesanal, where the Lugo family offers tastings of more than 15 rompope flavors, along with handcrafted sauces, jams, and cajeta.
The final stop is Real del Monte and the Museo Mina de Acosta, where you will learn about the region’s mining heritage and explore a historic silver vein. Before returning to Mexico City, visit the English Cemetery and enjoy free time to stroll the town center and taste traditional pastes.
