The mystique continues at Edzná—often called the “City of the Itzáes”—followed by a sensory experience at Destilería Cannavera, where you’ll learn about artisanal rum production and enjoy an exclusive tasting of fresh sugarcane juice and local distillates. Day 2: Walking City Tour
After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour through Campeche’s traditional neighborhoods, exploring their history and cultural heritage.
At the end of the tour, you’ll savor a typical local beverage. The rest of the afternoon is free to experience the city at your own pace.
Day 3: Candelaria Adventure
After breakfast (box lunch provided), depart for Candelaria and visit its main square. Continue to the Zona Arqueológica El Tigre, then refresh yourself at the Pedro Baranda springs—a revitalizing natural escape.
Day 4: Edzná and a Rum Experience
Today features a historical exploration of the Zona Arqueológica de Edzná. The experience is crowned with a visit to Destilería Cannavera, where you’ll learn about rum production and enjoy a tasting of sugarcane juice and local rum.
Return to your hotel afterward and enjoy a free afternoon.
Day 5: Calakmul Adventure
After breakfast (box lunch included), depart at the scheduled time for the Zona Arqueológica de Calakmul. Immerse yourself in its grandeur and singular beauty.
To enhance the experience, enjoy a traditional lunch in a local community before returning.
Day 6: Camino Real Tour
After breakfast, depart for Hecelchakán to visit the regional market and taste the traditional cochinita pibil torta.
Continue to the municipality of Calkiní to explore the community of Bécal, where local artisans will demonstrate the traditional jipi japa weaving technique.
On the way back to Campeche, visit Pomuch to explore its artisanal bakeries and the distinctive cemetery known for its exposed-bone traditions. The remainder of the afternoon is free.
Day 7: Free Day in Campeche
Enjoy a delicious breakfast before taking advantage of a full free day to relax or pursue personal activities.
Day 8: Farewell to Campeche
After a final breakfast, transfer to the airport or Tren Maya station for your return journey.
If your departure flight is scheduled for late afternoon or evening, an additional activity can be arranged at extra cost.
