Day 1: Waterfall Hiking

Among its most notable routes is the Sendero Cascada de Temporal, a hike of approximately 1.5 km leading to the majestic Cascada Ojo de Agua, surrounded by pristine nature and lesser-known corners of the canyon.
The experience is enhanced with a guided night hike, offering the opportunity to observe nocturnal wildlife along a 2 km trail. The walk concludes with a campfire under the starry sky and a snack to close the day. During the season, Huaxtla also offers firefly watching — a natural spectacle experienced with respect and environmental care.
