Day 1: Welcome to the Heart of the Bajio

Your experience begins with a reception at the Guanajuato International Airport (BJX), followed by a transfer to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy a free afternoon to soak in the atmosphere of this UNESCO World Heritage city. Wander through its plazas and prepare for the colonial exploration ahead.

Day 2: Colonial Treasures and Legendary Alleys

After breakfast, we’ll explore the city that hosts the world-famous International Cervantine Festival.

  • Iconic Landmarks: Walk through picturesque, narrow alleys to visit the University of Guanajuato, the majestic Juarez Theater, and the romantic Alley of the Kiss.
  • Culture & Art: Discover the Diego Rivera Birthplace Museum, the house of legendary singer Jorge Negrete, and the Don Quixote Iconographic Museum.

The Underground: Descend into the unique subterranean streets and visit the globally renowned Mummies of Guanajuato Museum.

Day 3: From Colonial History to the Leather Capital

After breakfast, we’ll transfer to the vibrant city of Leon. Once settled in your hotel, you’ll have the rest of the day at leisure. It’s the perfect time for some world-class shopping at specialized leather malls or to simply recharge before the next matchday.

Day 4: Leon City Tour: Culture, Leather, and Traditional Flavors

After breakfast, experience the essence of Leon with a guided tour of its main icons.

  • Architecture & Mystery: Visit the Cultural Forum, the Heroes’ Causeway (Calzada de los Heroes), and the majestic Expiatory Temple, where we’ll descend into its mystical underground catacombs.
  • Civic Pride: Learn about the world-leading leather industry, admire the murals at the Municipal Palace, and visit the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Light.

The “Leon” Experience: Wrap up the day in the iconic San Juan de Dios neighborhood. You must try a Cebadina (a refreshing red fruit-based soda), a traditional “Guacamaya” (spicy pork rind sandwich), and an artisanal garrafa ice cream.

Day 5: Farewell to the Bajio

Enjoy one last breakfast at the hotel before your departure. At the scheduled time, we’ll provide a transfer to the Guanajuato International Airport (BJX) for your flight to the next tournament host city. Carry the spirit of Mexico’s colonial heart with you as you head to the next stadium.
