A Journey through Compostela Bay: Flavors, Adventure, and Relaxation

The adventure begins in La Peñita de Jaltemba with an oceanfront breakfast at Aloha Restaurant, where local flavors prepare us for a morning of pure action.

The day gets thrilling with a coasteering expedition toward Playa del Toro. This discipline allows us to traverse the shoreline by combining coastal hiking and rappelling over cliffs, revealing hidden landscapes that few ever get to see. The ultimate reward is arriving at one of the most exclusive and secluded beaches in the region.

After the physical challenge, we’ll enjoy lunch at Pineda Restaurant before heading to Los Ayala to check into Bungalows Santa Martha, an ideal spot for rest. The afternoon passes calmly, allowing your body to recover before closing the day with a cozy dinner at Sabor de Casa—the perfect end to an intense day of exploration.

Our second day is all about connecting with marine life. After a relaxed breakfast at the bungalows, we’ll grab our paddle boards to navigate toward Coral Island (Isla del Coral).

This journey over transparent waters is a breathtaking experience that culminates in a snorkeling session, where the biodiversity of the local reefs will leave you speechless. Back on the mainland, lunch awaits at Guayami Vice in the heart of Rincón de Guayabitos.

The afternoon is reserved for the beauty of Playa Frideritas in Los Ayala, a hidden corner known for its calm waters and light sands. Before heading back, we’ll take a stroll through the picturesque streets of the three sister towns: La Peñita, Guayabitos, and Los Ayala, which together share the magic of the bay.
