In this three-day immersion, we step into the creative and romantic world of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo. Starting in the city where the great muralist was born, we’ll explore the spaces that shaped his genius and the fierce passion that bound him to Frida. Through museum visits, interactive art workshops, and themed stays, this route invites you to experience the true Bohemian Guanajuato.
Your experience begins with an airport reception and a private transfer to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Guanajuato.
Upon arrival at the Corazón Mexicano Hotel, you’ll discover your themed suite, carefully designed with details that reflect the spirit and legendary love of Frida and Diego. To close your first night, enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel, surrounded by an atmosphere that celebrates Mexican identity, vibrant colors, and fine art.
After breakfast, we begin a journey dedicated to the life of Diego Rivera. We’ll visit his Birthplace Museum (Casa Museo) to see the exact site where he was born and admire some of his most representative early works.
The exploration continues with a themed City Tour through the hidden corners that marked his personal history. In the afternoon, we head to Taller 23, a local creative studio. Here, you’ll participate in a hands-on painting and clay workshop to craft your own piece inspired by the couple’s artistic legacy. As night falls, surrender to the magic of a traditional Callejoneada, wandering through narrow alleys filled with live music, wit, and romantic legends.
Enjoy a final traditional breakfast at the hotel before checking out. You’ll have free time to wander through the sun-drenched plazas, capture last-minute photos, or shop for high-quality local crafts and textiles. Finally, we’ll provide your transfer to the airport, concluding your journey through the hearts of Diego and Frida.
