Between Volcanoes: Colima & Guadalajara

Day 1: Arrival in Colima

Your journey begins with a warm welcome in the capital of Colima, with pickups available from the Miguel de la Madrid Airport or the central bus terminal. After checking into your hotel, the afternoon is yours to acclimate to the city’s tropical breeze and prepare for a route of stunning contrasts.

Día 1

Day 2: Match Day Passion: World Cup 2026

Thu. June 11 & 18, Tue. 23 & Fri. 26

After a high-energy breakfast, we head toward Zapopan. The Guadalajara Stadium becomes the epicenter of the day as you immerse yourself in the intensity of international football. Once the final whistle blows, we return to Colima, allowing you to process the match-day excitement in the comfort of your accommodation.

Día 2

Day 3: Stone Hearts and White Magic

Fri. June 12 & 19, Wed. 24 & Sat. 27

Day three is dedicated to the soul of Colima. We’ll tour the Minor Basilica, the historic Hidalgo Theater, and the La Campana Archaeological Zone. After following the local ritual of sliding down the Piedra Lisa (the Smooth Stone)—to guarantee your eventual return to Colima—we head to the Pueblo Mágico of Comala. The aroma of artisanal coffee and local sweet bread will accompany our visit to the Rangel Hidalgo Museum, culminating in an iconic lunch at the traditional botanero (tapas-style eatery), Don Comalón.

Día 3

Day 4: Salt, Breeze, and Conservation

The route continues toward the coast. Enjoy a refreshing tuba (a traditional palm sap drink) in Armería before arriving at the black sands of Cuyutlán. Here, nature takes center stage at the Turtle Sanctuary and the Salt Museum. The journey continues to Manzanillo to admire the Sailfish Monument and the Iguana Sanctuary, closing with a seaside lunch overlooking the Pacific at Club Santiago before returning to the capital.

Día 4

Day 5: Farewell to Colima

After breakfast, your itinerary concludes with a transfer to your departure point. It’s time to say goodbye to the Land of King Coliman, carrying with you the serene memories of the “White Towns” and the spirit of the World Cup.
