In the following days, you’ll explore iconic sites such as the Teotihuacan Pyramids, the Basílica de Guadalupe, and colonial cities including Querétaro, San Miguel de Allende, and Guanajuato. The journey concludes with an exciting football match in Guadalajara and visits to iconic places such as Tequila.

Day 1: Arrival in Mexico City

Your adventure begins with a relaxed acclimatization day. Upon arrival at Mexico City International Airport “Benito Juárez,” you will be transferred to your selected hotel.

You’ll have time to organize your schedule and start exploring the area around your accommodation. Mexico City offers countless attractions across its many neighborhoods—get ready to enjoy the adventure!

Día 1

Day 2: FIFA World Cup 2026 Opening Ceremony

The big day has arrived! This is an experience you will remember forever. You’ll have the opportunity to witness the Opening Ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

For the first time in history, the United States, Canada, and Mexico have joined forces to host the world’s biggest sporting event.

The iconic Estadio Azteca (officially known as Estadio Banorte) in Mexico City will host the tournament’s opening. Please note: match tickets are not included in the itinerary.

Día 2

Day 3: Teotihuacan Pyramids & Basilica of Guadalupe

Today you’ll explore some of the most emblematic historical sites near Mexico City.

The tour begins at the Plaza of the Three Cultures, where Mexico’s past and present converge. You’ll then visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mexico’s patron saint.

Afterward, continue to Teotihuacan in the State of Mexico to explore the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, the Temple of Quetzalpapalotl, the Citadel, and the Avenue of the Dead. You’ll also visit a local artisan center.

This tour offers a fascinating look at both Mexico’s colonial and pre-Hispanic heritage.

Día 3

Day 4: Mexico City – Querétaro – San Miguel de Allende

Today you begin exploring Mexico’s colonial treasures.

Travel to Querétaro, a UNESCO World Heritage city, where you’ll visit the Aqueduct, the Ex-Convent of the Cross, and the historic center.

Continue to San Miguel de Allende, a charming city once home to the famous comedian Cantinflas and now a haven for artists and intellectuals. Explore on foot and visit landmarks such as the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, the Church of San Francisco, and the Allende Institute. Enjoy its vibrant culinary scene.

Día 4

Day 5: San Miguel – Dolores Hidalgo – Guanajuato

After breakfast, depart for Dolores Hidalgo, birthplace of Mexican Independence. It was here in 1810 that Father Miguel Hidalgo issued the famous “Grito” that began the independence movement. The town is also the birthplace of composer José Alfredo Jiménez.

Continue to Guanajuato, a UNESCO World Heritage city and host of the annual Festival Internacional Cervantino. Visit highlights such as the Alhóndiga de Granaditas, Teatro Juárez, La Valenciana Mine, the Alley of the Kiss, and the University of Guanajuato. Don’t miss the famous callejoneada musical tour through its colorful alleyways.

Día 5

Day 6: Guanajuato – Zacatecas

Travel to Zacatecas, a stunning colonial mining city and UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its pink stone architecture and magnificent cathedral.

Visit Cerro de la Bufa for panoramic views and descend by cable car. Explore the historic Mina del Edén and, optionally, enjoy a nighttime musical callejoneada or even dance in a nightclub located inside a former mine.

Day 7: Guadalajara City Tour

Welcome to the land of mariachi and tequila: Guadalajara.

Visit the Hospicio Cabañas (featuring murals by José Clemente Orozco), the Teatro Degollado, Guadalajara Cathedral, the Rotonda de los Hombres Ilustres, and the Government Palace.

Día 7

Day 8: Tequila Pueblo Mágico

Visit the charming town of Tequila, birthplace of Mexico’s most famous spirit.

Tour a distillery, learn about the production process, and enjoy a guided tasting in the agave fields.

Day 9: Match Day in Guadalajara

Day 10: Pátzcuaro & Vicente Fernández Ranch

Visit the ranch and souvenir store of legendary singer Vicente Fernández, known as “El Charro de Huentitán.”

Continue to Pátzcuaro, a colonial gem by Lake Pátzcuaro. Visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Health, Casa de los Once Patios, and Janitzio Island. Enjoy traditional cuisine before heading to Morelia.

Visit the ranch and souvenir store of legendary singer Vicente Fernández, known as “El Charro de Huentitán.”

Return to Mexico City in the evening.
