Day 1: Historic Roots and the "Nueva Vizcaya" Charm

Your journey begins with a warm welcome at the Durango International Airport, followed by a transfer to your hotel in the Historic Center.

Once settled, we’ll embark on a sunset tram tour to admire the architectural wealth of this ancient capital—a vital landmark on the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro (The Royal Inland Road). To close the day, enjoy a free evening to dine at local downtown restaurants or explore the traditional, bohemian vibe of the El Calvario neighborhood.

Día 1

Day 2: Journey into the Heart of the Highlands

After breakfast at the hotel, we set off toward Pueblo Nuevo, a region renowned for its breathtaking ecotourism scenery.

Upon arriving at Rancho Santa Isabel, we’ll check into our cozy mountain cabins and begin exploring the surroundings through pristine pine forest trails. During the day, you’ll experience the thrill of rappelling, taking in the unparalleled views of the Sierra Madre Occidental. It’s a day to disconnect from the world and reconnect with the tranquility of the woods before spending a starry night in the mountains.

Día 2

Day 3: Sunrise Peaks and Regional Flavors

We start our final day with an early morning hike to witness a spectacular sunrise from the highest points of the sierra. As we descend, we’ll savor a traditional breakfast prepared with authentic regional dishes, capturing the rustic and bold flavors of “Sierreño” cuisine.

Finally, we’ll complete the check-out from our cabin and conclude the adventure with a transfer back to the airport, carrying the fresh mountain air back home.
