THE ROUTE

Football & Beach Passion in Mexico City 2026

Day 1: Arrival in Mexico City

Your adventure begins with a relaxed acclimatization day. Upon arrival at Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México, you’ll be transferred to your selected hotel.

Enjoy free time to explore nearby areas and begin discovering the many attractions Mexico City has to offer.

Día 1

Day 2: Opening Match at Estadio Banorte

JUE 11 DE JUNIO

The big day has arrived! Attend a FIFA World Cup 2026 match in Mexico City.

For the first time in history, the United States, Canada, and Mexico unite to host the world’s largest sporting event.

The iconic Estadio Azteca (officially Estadio Banorte) will host matches in the capital. Match tickets are not included.

Día 2

Day 3: Garibaldi by Night

VIE 12 JUNIO

Explore Mexico City during the day and, in the evening, enjoy live mariachi music at Plaza Garibaldi.

Immerse yourself in an authentic Mexican atmosphere, dance to the rhythm of mariachi, and enjoy a complimentary drink in this vibrant cultural hotspot.

Día 3

Day 4: Querétaro & San Miguel de Allende

SÁB 13 JUNIO

Travel to Querétaro, a UNESCO World Heritage city. Visit the Aqueduct, the Ex-Convent of the Cross, and the historic center.

Continue to San Miguel de Allende, once home to the legendary comedian Cantinflas. Stroll through its charming streets and visit landmarks such as the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel and the Allende Institute.

Día 4

Day 5: San Miguel – Dolores Hidalgo – Guanajuato

DOM 14 JUNIO

Depart for Dolores Hidalgo, birthplace of Mexican Independence, where Father Miguel Hidalgo launched the independence movement in 1810. The town is also the birthplace of composer José Alfredo Jiménez.

Continue to Guanajuato, host of the annual Festival Internacional Cervantino. Visit the Alhóndiga de Granaditas, Teatro Juárez, La Valenciana Mine, the Alley of the Kiss, and more. Enjoy a traditional callejoneada with live student musicians.

Día 5

Day 6: Guanajuato – Mexico City

LUN 15 JUNIO

Enjoy Guanajuato at a relaxed pace before traveling by bus back to Mexico City.

Day 7: Free Day in Mexico City

MAR 16 JUNIO

Explore the capital at your leisure—museums, parks, restaurants, shopping, or archaeological sites. The choice is yours.

Día 7

Day 8: Match Day in Mexico City

MIE 17 JUNIO

Attend another FIFA World Cup 2026 match at Estadio Banorte. Experience the electric stadium atmosphere once again. Tickets not included.

Día 8

Day 9: Cuernavaca & Taxco

JUE 18 JUNIO

Travel to Cuernavaca, known as the “City of Eternal Spring.” Visit its historic center, cathedral, and the Palace of Cortés.

Continue to Taxco, a colonial silver town famous for its whitewashed houses and cobblestone streets. Visit the stunning Santa Prisca Church and browse for silver crafts.

Día 9

Day 10: Acapulco – Sun & Sea

VIE 19 JUNIO

Head to Acapulco, one of Mexico’s most internationally renowned beach destinations.

Enjoy its iconic beaches, fresh seafood, nightlife, and watch the famous cliff divers at La Quebrada. Visit historical sites such as the Fort of San Diego.

Día 10

Day 11: Bonanza Yacht Cruise

SÁB 20 JUNIO

Enjoy a three-hour cruise aboard the Bonanza yacht across one of Mexico’s most beautiful bays.

The experience includes open national bar, entertainment, live and recorded music, contests, and prizes. (Transfers to the dock not included.)

Day 12: Return to Mexico City

DOM 21 JUNIO

Free time in Acapulco before returning independently to Mexico City  (Transportation not included).

Day 13: Free Day in Mexico City

Another free day to continue exploring the capital—museums, gastronomy, outdoor activities, shopping, or archaeological wonders.

Day 14: End of the Itinerary

MAR 23 JUNIO

Enjoy your final morning in Mexico City before your transfer to Mexico City International Airport for your return flight home.
