Day 2: Candelaria Adventure
After enjoying a boxed breakfast, depart for Candelaria and visit the town’s main square, where everyday life unfolds at an unhurried pace.
Continue on to the El Tigre Archaeological Zone, then finish the day immersed in the refreshing waters of the Pedro Baranda springs — a revitalizing jungle escape.
Day 3: Heart of the Chenes in Hopelchén
Today you’ll explore Hopelchén in the heart of the Chenes region, visiting archaeological sites set amid lush surroundings and a center dedicated to the breeding and care of the melipona bee — a fascinating stingless species that produces the region’s prized honey.
You’ll also meet local artisans for a special hands-on workshop, crafting your own LEC (Lak’ech Ek’), a traditional Maya tortilla container still used in many communities across the Yucatán Peninsula.
Day 4: Camino Real Tour
After breakfast, travel to Hecelchakán to explore the regional market and savor a traditional torta de cochinita pibil.
