Football Pride: Guadalajara, Tequila & Puerto Vallarta

Your adventure begins with a reception at the Guadalajara International Airport (GDL) followed by a transfer to your selected hotel. This first day is designed for you to settle in comfortably and soak up the city’s atmosphere at your own pace. The afternoon is free to rest or take a casual stroll around your neighborhood.

After breakfast, we start with a scenic tour through Guadalajara’s main avenues. You’ll admire landmarks like the Minerva Fountain, the historic arches, and the stunning Neo-Gothic architecture of the Expiatorio Temple. In the Historic Center, we’ll walk past the Metropolitan Cathedral and the majestic Degollado Theater. Later, we head to the picturesque village of Tlaquepaque, famous for its art-filled pedestrian streets, blown-glass galleries, and world-renowned ceramics.

This day is yours to explore the city according to your interests. It’s the perfect time to dive into the local football fever or choose an optional tour to discover a hidden corner of Guadalajara. Whether visiting a local market or enjoying urban street food, today offers the freedom to experience the city authentically.

The morning and afternoon are free for continued discovery. As evening falls, the experience transforms with a transfer to Casa Bariachi. In this traditional restaurant, you’ll enjoy a classic Jalisciense dinner in a festive atmosphere where the chords of the Mariachi—the ultimate symbol of Mexican identity—accompany the flavors of the region for a night of pure folklore.

Day five is entirely dedicated to international football. After breakfast, the focus shifts to the stadium to live the intensity of a Group Stage match. Experience the legendary passion of the local fans and enjoy the sporting spectacle in one of the region’s most iconic venues.

We leave the city for the agave landscapes, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You’ll witness the jima (harvesting) process before visiting a traditional distillery to learn how our national spirit is crafted. With the Tequila Volcano as a backdrop, we continue to the Pueblo Mágico of Tequila. The day ends with an overnight stay in this charming town, allowing you to enjoy its historic streets and nightlife after the sun sets.

After breakfast in Tequila, we embark on a scenic drive to Puerto Vallarta, one of Mexico’s most beautiful coastal destinations. Upon arrival, we’ll check into the Zona Romántica (Romantic Zone). This vibrant and diverse neighborhood is famous for its cobblestone streets, white facades, and its inclusive atmosphere, where art galleries and LGBTQ+ bars create a perfect blend of tradition and modern seaside living.

The penultimate day is completely yours to enjoy the Pacific breeze. You can walk the famous Puerto Vallarta Malecón (boardwalk), explore nearby hidden beaches, or join exciting water sports. The Zona Romántica offers exceptional dining for a final sunset dinner, celebrating the end of a week full of contrasts.

Following your final breakfast, a transfer will take you to the Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR). This marks the end of the route, carrying with you memories that range from metropolitan intensity and the spirit of agave to the warmth of Jalisco’s golden beaches.
