THE ROUTE

Health & Wellness

Day 1: Arrival & Relaxation

A first day designed to slow down and shift environments, leaving the city behind to enter a natural setting focused on rest, well-being, and personal reconnection in southern Nuevo León.

Activities:

Upon arrival at Aeropuerto Internacional de Monterrey, the group is welcomed and transferred to Allende, where we check in at Ikkan Villa & Spa.

This all-inclusive property operates under a holistic concept centered on nature, physical and mental balance, and a lifestyle that prioritizes calm and disconnection. During the stay, guests begin to experience the essence of the retreat through its open spaces, relaxed atmosphere, and comprehensive wellness approach.

The hotel experience includes relaxation activities, spa services, and a culinary program focused on balanced nutrition—designed to support rest and renewal from the very first moment.

The name Ikkan, of Náhuatl origin, means “house of family,” a philosophy reflected in its warm hospitality and welcoming atmosphere. The remainder of the day is dedicated to enjoying the surroundings, facilities, and included services, with scheduled lunch and dinner at the hotel. In the evening, time to rest and prepare for the next day’s activities.

Día 1

Day 2: Hot Springs & Meditation

The second day connects physical wellness with cultural exploration, transitioning from the arid desert landscape to the historic life of one of Nuevo León’s oldest municipalities.

Activities:

After breakfast and check-out, we depart for the Icamole Desert. Our first stop is Termas de San Joaquín, a natural hot spring complex where mineral waters emerge from underground at approximately 42°C (107°F). Beneath Roman-inspired vaulted ceilings, we enjoy a wellness-focused experience that includes guided meditation in the thermal waters and a sound therapy session with singing bowls, taking advantage of the site’s mineral properties.

Following the visit, lunch is provided before continuing to García. There, we take a guided walk through the church and historic center, accompanied by the local town chronicler, who shares the historical, social, and cultural context that has shaped this community.

At the end of the visit, we return to Monterrey for hotel check-in and rest.
