This route features steep inclines and sections where climbing and hopping across rocks are part of the journey, adding energy and excitement to the hike. Along the way, you’ll learn about the geological formations that shaped this singular landscape of the Tequila region, understanding how water and time have sculpted the stone.

One of the most striking highlights of the day is a visit to Cascadas Los Azules, a series of vivid blue waterfalls where there is time to swim, take photographs, and cool off. The route also leads to a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Barranca de Tequila, offering expansive and dramatic views—an ideal place to pause and absorb the magnitude of the landscape.

The experience concludes with a cultural and gastronomic touch: a traditional meal accompanied by a tasting of cantaritos at Jarritos La Puerta de Agave.
