Day 1: Discovering Sonora’s Wine Scene
Wine culture in the Sonoran desert comes to life in an experience designed to explore, taste, and appreciate the artisanal process of a local winery.
Activities:
We depart from Hermosillo toward Hacienda de los Moreno, located approximately 40 minutes away along the highway to Ures.
Upon arrival, we tour the vineyards to learn about grape cultivation in this region and how the vines adapt to the desert environment. We then visit the production facility, where each stage of the winemaking process for Vino Moreli is explained in detail.
The experience concludes with a guided tasting led by a sommelier, who introduces the aromas, flavors, and unique characteristics of the wines. Guests will also receive special discounts on bottle purchases.
After the tasting, we return to Hermosillo.
